TRIP TO C. KAHN STATUE

This is the well known stainless steel statue of Chingiss Kahn which was built two years ago at the site where is 100,000 man army coronated him.  It sits 50 miles outside the cityand it is a rough ride to get here.  The pic shows the driver of GI which got us here together with the young attorney Burnee of the office and her daughter and her sister-in-law all of whom made the trip.  There is a starway to the horse's head where you can look out over the vast steppe and see gers and and sheep and low mountains.  Along the journey out we stopped at a site where Mongolian eagles were staked and I got a chance to hold one on my left arm.  That pic is coming up.  Also a pic from the horse's head.
