First Snow

Here is a shot of the same scene outside the office that I displayed earlier, only then the ice shown here was standing water.  The temp this AM was 5 above zero F so I had a cold walk to the office and took this pic to show the results of this early dusting of snow. 

Yesterday the electricity went off for an hour in our area of the city because of energy restrictions.  This also resulted in eliminating hot water as well as light and the hot water has still not returned.  Shades of Army days.  Then while at the office their electricity was also terminated unexpectedly and that lasted for the rest of the day. 

In the meantime I completed work on some research and started setting up a schedule for my later lectures etc.  And so it goes...
